You know that one hair product you can’t live without? The one that makes your hair look better even when you’ve been too busy to get a cut and now your ‘do is turning into a don’t? Mine is Paul Mitchell’s Super Skinny Serum. This product has been on the market for a while, but a good oldie is always worth sharing.
Amazingly, this product does absolutely everything it claims to do. Just one little pump of this highly concentrated serum smoothes your frizzy flyaways, conditions your damaged locks, and adds shine to your style. And my favourite part? It actually reduces drying time. And for a chronically late girl like me, any way to speed up my morning routine is a huge bonus!

Lately, we’ve been obsessed with organization. Unfortunately, our busy schedules mean that we’ve haven’t been actually implementing the obsession.
Case in point: we remembered that we needed to buy our BFF a birthday gift on her birthday. And since she lives in a different time zone, after-work drinks weren’t going to cut it.

I have fallen in love with the most adorable little soaps—ones that are custom-made inside TVÅL, a decadent skincare store that opened on Queen Street West six months ago. I’ll admit it: I totally fell for the advertising for the Neutrogena Deep Clean Wave. So when I was offered the chance to try it myself, I jumped at it. Even when the publicist said that it’s great for teens to get them to wash their faces.
I’m not a teen. I haven’t been a teen in more than a decade.
And I really don’t care.
I’ve only used the Neutrogena Wave twice but I love it already. It’s pink and cute and easy to use. The starter kit comes with a AA battery and a two-week supply of foaming pads. You slip the foaming pad onto the Wave Power-Cleanser, turn it on, and voila: a fun way to cleanse.
The vibrating action of the Power-Cleanser is supposed to massage skin while the cleanser cleans 10x deeper than a traditional cleanser.
I’m not sure if I can say that my skin is 10 times cleaner than it was when I was using a traditional cleanser and my fingertips, but it is perhaps exponentially more fun. And, its size (and the dry pads) makes it ideal for cross-border travel!
