Baby blues (or greens or hazels…)

For years, CoverGirl mascara has been my rock. The boyfriend that makes me feel good about myself, because when you love your lashes, well, you love yourself, no?
First came Fantastic Lash.

Then, Lash Exact, with its innovative bristles.

Then, Lash Blast for fullness.

And I really didn’t think there was anything more that CoverGirl could come up with. I mean, I had thick, full lashes when I wanted them, long lashes when I wanted to flutter them, and always individually separated lashes, no clumping, ever.

But then, they came up with CoverGirl Eyelights.

The advanced formula contains metallic spheres that act like little mirrors to capture and reflect light and bring attention to the eye area. But each of the four customized shades are unique not to the lash colour you want, but for the eye colour you want to enhance:

• Silver beads brighten brown eyes
• Sapphire beads intensify blue eyes
• Ruby beads accentuate green eyes
• Gold enhance hazel eyes
Since I typically wear glasses, my blue eyes usually get hidden by my oversized frames, but I’ve been wearing the Eyelights in Black Sapphire for a week and I keep getting compliments on my eyes. It’s really like having a magical wand in your makeup bag. And what girl doesn’t want to be a princess?

Thanks for the recommendation. I tried this mascara (black/gold for my hazel eyes) and really like what it does to my eyes. It’s very natural looking but adds a lot of definition to my face, making my eyelashes and eyes look brighter. I never used to wear any makeup to the gym but now I wear a little of this mascara and I look a lot better without seeming made-up, a look that I don’t like for the gym.
